New iPods
This week has seen the Apple iPods get a refreshed line up.
The Apple iPod shuffle has returned to the square format & the buttons are back. Capacity stays at 2GB and now cheaper at £39.
The iPod Nano has been shrunk to the size of the shuffle, so it loses video functionality & the camera, but you get the mutlitouch touchscreen display, voice over control, 24 hour battery life, and an FM radio built in… from £129 (8GB)
and finally the iPod touch, which at first glance looks just like the old model. However, it feature the retina display, front & back camera, HD video recording & editing, FaceTime, & powered by the A4 processor. It’s almost a surpise it isn’t called an iPad mini… from £189 (8GB)
For more details & pricing see the Bramley Mac Store

Also getting a refresh this week is the Apple TV, now even more compact, now powered by the Apple A4 processor, the HD has been ditched, and most importantly the price slashed, now only £99. It could well be an essential part of your new entertainment system. The Apple TV now streams everything from your iTunes library or the internet, straight to your TV.
