The internal drive on my 27" imac had been troublesome for some time and I had been running it off an external ssd, when the interanl drive started to be really noisy I decided to bite the bullet and contacted Jon. That was the best thing I could have done, fortunately I kept the original box, it went up to him on a thursday and was back with with me the following tuesday, now thats what I call most excellent service. I was already aware of Bramley Computers via Twitter and decided to contact Jon when the screen problems on my iMac became too regular to be acceptable. Jon diagnosed a graphics card problem very quickly and advised me on price options and timescales.
We also discussed upgrade feasibilities and I finally decided, based on Jon's clear presentation of the various benefits and costs, that upgrading to a 256GB SSD with an external hard drive for data storage would be the best way to improve the overall usability of the machine.
Jon carried out the work quickly and professionally and at a very acceptable price level.

My Imac had been making an awful noise for quite a while, it sounded like the fan was on overdrive and it was getting red hot at the back.
I dropped it off with Jon on the Friday and by Saturday he's diagnosed the problem. He had it fixed and I collected it within the week. Now I can use the computer in peace without it driving me crackers with the noise. It's pretty much silent now!

Testimonial Clearly Jon knows his stuff re technology, computing, and in my case Mac/iMac computers. Jon's ability to anyalyse my computer using remote viewing software saved either me a trip to Chesterfield, or him a trip out to the Edale Valley.
I'll certainly use Jon again, as to many Windows computer specialists, Apple/Mac systems are a black art. Jon identified that the issue of my slowish iMac may be due to disc access time. So I'll probably ask Jon to remove my old Fusion disc and replace it with a solid state disc.

The RAM was increased and an SSD drive was installed in my Mac Mini. Because I live far away from his area, it meant sending it to him and having it returned by courier. As it is my main business computer, I couldn’t afford to be without it for long.
Jon went to the trouble of fitting the work in with my business time schedule and providing a very fast turn-around time. The service, including keeping me informed of progress, was excellent and very professional. I’d certainly use Bramley Computers again.
