just to let you know that the postman came knocking this morning.
I am typing this using the wireless keyboard on my iPad.

Mrs B is now playing with the MBP after i've set it up, and the wireless mouse we can try later.
Mrs B prefers the old style trackpad with proper mouse button (doesn't like the newer press on trackpad button)

It will more than do Mrs B's needs and also any over seas travel like we just done for the wedding in vegas. Looks the job.

Many companies offer to fix problems like this, but they all invariably gave me excuses for charging extra fees, mostly due to the difficulty of replacing an LCD without breaking the glass itself. Jon was not only able to do this with skill, but he was honest and prompt in his dealings with me and I ultimately felt very comfortable shipping my most important work equipment to him! From first contact through to completion of business, Jon has been absolutely first class. Every question was answered fully and clearly. Well, another successful purchase completed. This time a Mac Mini. Delivery was almost instant, and quality as per previous purchases (nothing like a returning customer). This time there were a few issues with setting up, issues that appear to be unique to the Mac Mini, but a phone call and a few e-mails and I was away.

Jon at Bramley was recommended to me by a fellow motorcycle rider when my Mac threw a hissy fit. I sent my unit via Jons courier and in next to no time i had an update telling me what was happening. Not good news, but i did know why as Jon explained everything most concisely without getting 'geeky'.Jon returned my HDD the next day and paid me an amount for the dead mac by Bacs.
Abit like organ donoring really. I'm happy that my Mac may help someone else with used parts or a case etc.
