The battery is showing between 50-70% of the original charge capacity (it’s been fluctuating) & showing 549 charge cycles, and ideally needs a new battery. Priced as is as a bargain machine, batteries are a DIY replacement so for those that feel happy to do this (or are happy to run it mainly on the mains) it’s a bargain machine, or there is an option to spec a new battery above (please note this will delay shipping by a few days as the battery will be ordered in*).
Generally in good condition but a few bits of minor chipping around the edge of the aluminium so Grade B.
Securely erased & fresh install of macOS 11 Big Sur (the latest this machine will run), supplied with original Apple charger.
Fully tested working, GeekBench performance score is above average for this model.
Nice little starter Mac, makes a super light travel companion.
