Testimonial Clearly Jon knows his stuff re technology, computing, and in my case Mac/iMac computers. Jon's ability to anyalyse my computer using remote viewing software saved either me a trip to Chesterfield, or him a trip out to the Edale Valley.
I'll certainly use Jon again, as to many Windows computer specialists, Apple/Mac systems are a black art. Jon identified that the issue of my slowish iMac may be due to disc access time. So I'll probably ask Jon to remove my old Fusion disc and replace it with a solid state disc.
We were abroad when my wife's emails stopped working because of some changes at our service providers. Jon had already been very helpful with our computer problems so we contacted him and he was brilliant. Sorted it out remotely and instructing us what to do via my email which was still working. Such a competent, helpful and nice person. Just what you need.
The 2015 iMac we've been using for a while started to grind a little. I contacted Jon for a recommendation and he swapped out the old spinning disk for a newer SSD. He provided exceptional service and a swift turnaround - the Mac was only out of my office 2 days, and returned as basically a brand new machine which will continue to be useful for another few years. Excellent service and highly recommended.
The RAM was increased and an SSD drive was installed in my Mac Mini. Because I live far away from his area, it meant sending it to him and having it returned by courier. As it is my main business computer, I couldn’t afford to be without it for long.
Jon went to the trouble of fitting the work in with my business time schedule and providing a very fast turn-around time. The service, including keeping me informed of progress, was excellent and very professional. I’d certainly use Bramley Computers again.
Jon was asked to keep an eye out for a cheap iMac for me.
I was contacted last week with an offer of the perfect machine. It was shipped to the Isle of Man without incurring any additional expenses and I got a very clean 2Ghz iMac with 3GB at under what I thought I would have to pay.
It complete in its box with the manuals and the original installation disks. Booted it up and its ready to go.
Communication throughout was perfect, and the order was tracked from the off.
As with others here, I have no hesitation in recommending Jon and Bramley Computers and Ill certainly be using him again.

Many companies offer to fix problems like this, but they all invariably gave me excuses for charging extra fees, mostly due to the difficulty of replacing an LCD without breaking the glass itself. Jon was not only able to do this with skill, but he was honest and prompt in his dealings with me and I ultimately felt very comfortable shipping my most important work equipment to him! We had been battling to find someone with serious knowledge and expertise on Macs. But since finding Bramley computers through a Google search we have not looked back. Other IT companies purport to knowing Macs, but we have found Bramley to be heads above any other company we've worked with. I can't recommend Bramley highly enough, for super-intelligent understanding of Macs, personalised service and high level of professionalism. We're very happy customers!!!!
As with past problems over the years Jon was able swiftly and cheerfully to put right what was wrong with minimum fuss and maximum Mac expertise.
Jon at Bramley was recommended to me by a fellow motorcycle rider when my Mac threw a hissy fit. I sent my unit via Jons courier and in next to no time i had an update telling me what was happening. Not good news, but i did know why as Jon explained everything most concisely without getting 'geeky'.Jon returned my HDD the next day and paid me an amount for the dead mac by Bacs.
Abit like organ donoring really. I'm happy that my Mac may help someone else with used parts or a case etc.
